Pre Clinical Scientist
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Pre Clinical Drug Development the Pre Clinical Scientist will be responsible for developing in vivo models to assess imaging agent action and in vivo properties in support of VisEn's agent clinical development programs.
Position Description:
The Pre Clinical Scientist will be responsible for the following:
 Designing disease models in the areas of oncology and inflammation
 Conduting imaging. Pharmacokinetic and biodistrubution studies and associated data analysis
 Preparing reports and documentation to support internal decision making and IND filings
QUALIFICATIONS:

 MS degree in Biology or Pharmacology; Ph.D. preferred
 2-5 years industry or post graduate experience in animal disease models
 Previous experience with subcutaneous, metastatic and orthotopic tumor models compound dosing using a variety of routes, tissue/plasma/blood sample collection and small animal surgical techniques is required
 Experience with cell based assays and microscopic based analysis is highly desirable, including immunohsitochemistry and fluorescence microscopy
 Team player with excellent written or oral communication skills
