Meeting Overview:

Following a brief introduction of Bayesian methods in the clinical trial setting, this session will provide insight to participants on how Bayesian approaches can be leveraged to help design a better trial that accomplishes the overall trial objectives.

Several case studies will be presented to illustrate Bayesian applications.

Guidance will be provided to determine whether Bayesian designs will provide benefits over traditional designs under various clinical trial scenarios.

Step-by-step instruction of basic Bayesian (classical and adaptive) trial designs will also be provided.

The session will conclude with a 15 min Q&A.
