The MBC Human Resources Committee invites you to a session on: "New Workplace Realities: An Exploration of Issues and Trends

The 2008 World of Work marks the 9th year in an ongoing exploration of workplace issues and trends. Every year there has been significant and often surprising discoveries about the attitudes and experiences of employers and employees on top business issues.

Please join us on September 10th when we discuss key findings on the primary attitudes and perceptions of the American Workforce on keeping employees happy, generational differences and satisfaction.

The four main areas are:

  • The Impact of a Lackluster Economy on Employee Expectation and Demands


  • How Employership is Redefining Employee-Employer Relationship and Expectations


  • It's a Knowledge Gap, Not a Talent Shortage


  • How Each Generation is Experiencing a New and Different Reality on the Job


  • Speaker Bio:


    Dr. Eileen Habelow, Regional Director and Vice President, Randstad USA

    Eileen is currently the regional director and vice president for the New York Metro and New England region. She has been with Randstad for eight years as the director, Business Concept Development (BCD) and as a senior manager in our award-winning Learning Center of Excellence. Before joining Randstad, Eileen ran her own organizational development consulting company. She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from Temple University, a Masters of Science in Instructional Design and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, both from Syracuse University. Eileen recently attended the International Senior Executive Program, with a concentration in Strategic Management, through the IESE Business School at The University of Navarra, Spain and Tias Business School at Tilburg University, the Netherlands.
